Civil Society Assists in Improving Access to Inclusive Education in Osh
Osh, December 9, 2015 - Public Foundation “Smile.KG”, in cooperation with the Osh City Education Department and local partner NGOs, has started the implementation of a new project titled “Yes - to Inclusive Education” with a workshop to discuss issues of disability, improvement of access to education for children with disabilities, and survey to identify priority needs in this area that will be carried out as a part of the project.

UCA Launches New Cultural Heritage Publications on the Pamirs
The University of Central Asia (UCA) launched three new books at the Ismaili Centre, Dushanbe on 12 November 2015. The books, which focus on the history and cultures of the Pamir region of Tajikistan, include Archaeological Map of the Eastern Pamirs by Mira Bubnova and two volumes in The Musical Arts of the Pamirs series by Nizom Nurdjanov, Fayzulla Karomatov and Bahriniso Kabilova.

Holenstein, and the UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Alexander Avanessov, have signed an agreement for the implementation of the “Cross-border Cooperation for Sustainable Peace and Development” project in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
