Karakol Will Host a Discussion on the Use of Digital Signature

Karakol - On April 28, 2016, roundtable discussions on the theme “Raising Awareness of Karakol Entrepreneurs on the Use of Digital Signature” will be held at “Altamira” Hotel in Karakol. The participants will discuss current problems and possibilities for using a digital signature (DS) for interactions of businesses with the government agencies, as well as learn about the legal framework that regulates the use of digital signature. The discussions are organized with the support of the Collaborative Governance Program, funded by USAID and DFID.

According to monitoring findings, the Pervomaiskey District Court of Bishkek is the leader in publishing judicial acts and information on proceedings on the website www.sot.kg during the month of February 2016 with the score of 69.76%.

Switzerland provided assistance to local authorities of Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul provinces

The Government of Switzerland has allocated 1.75 million soms to six municipalities of Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul provinces and the city of Balykchy. Every local authority has received a grant in the amount of 250’000 soms to improve public services at the municipal level.

Judges will Undergo Training on Formation of Anti-Corruption Models of Behavior

Bishkek – On 26-27 April 2016, judges of the second instance courts, Supreme Court, and Constitutional Chamber will participate in a specialized course “Formation of Anti-Corruption Models of Behavior.” The training program will help form of an anti-corruption model of behavior, promote legal values in decision-making in line with personal values, and aid in the establishment of rule of law.

Resorts on Kyrgyz lake Issyk-Kul can receive environmental upgrade

Yesterday, on 19 April, the EBRD held an environmental workshop in the Issyk Kul region for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to share information about successful advisory projects supported by the Bank and stimulate further activity in this area. This is in response to the needs and concerns expressed by the Issyk Kul government and local resorts to reduce costs and preserve the ecological situation in the region.

Bishkek Hosts a Discussion on Improvement of Drug Procurement

Bishkek – On 18 April 2016 “PARK HOTEL”:  The Association of Harm Reduction Programs “Partnership  Network” host a round table discussion dedicated to the development of an action plan for improving spending of state funds for the procurement of medicines to treat HIV, TB, HVC, oncology diseases, as well as the procurement of immunosuppressive drugs.  Attendees discusses the possibilities to increase the volume of state funds allocated for the procurement of pharmaceuticals and to expand the list of drugs which are accessible and affordable for the population.
