EBRD, Kazakh government finance district heating in three north-eastern cities

The EBRD and the government of Kazakhstan are continuing to support sustainable public utilities through an extension of existing projects with the Central Asian Electric Power Corporation (CAEPCO), the largest private sector energy corporation in the country, to modernise district heating in the cities of Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar and Ekibastuz. The project is expected to benefit over 500,000 residents in north-eastern Kazakhstan.

Osh Will Host a Discussion on the Use of Digital Signature

Osh - On May 26, 2016, roundtable discussions on the theme “Raising Awareness of Osh Entrepreneurs on the Use of Digital Signature” will be held at “Sun Rise” Hotel in Osh. The participants will discuss current problems and possibilities for using a digital signature (DS) for interactions of businesses with the government agencies, as well as learn about the legal framework that regulates the use of digital signature. The discussions are organized with the support of the Collaborative Governance Program, funded by USAID and DFID.

Bishkek’s Pervomaiskey Rayon District Court Leads in Publishing Information on “www.sot.kg” in April

According to monitoring findings, the Pervomaiskey District Court of Bishkek is the leader in publishing judicial acts and information on proceedings on the website www.sot.kg during the month of April 2016 with the score of 85.29%. The Leninskey District Court was ranked 2nd with the score of 65.42%, while the Sverdlovskey District Court was ranked the 3rd with the score of 61.41%. The Pervomaiskey District Court of Bishkek had led the rating in February, March 2016.
