Bishkek – On July 15, 2016 at 16:00, the Public Union “Association of Nonprofit Management Educators” and the Center for Training and Consultancy of the Republic of Georgia will sign a Memorandum of Understanding at the Kyrgyz National University Resource Center (3rd floor, room 310, 547 Frunze Street).
The first competition for EFSD grants is announced
Moscow, 11 July 2016.Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), as the Resources Manager of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development (EFSD), announced the first competition for EFSD grants for the member states' projects in the social sphere. Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are invited to take part in the competition.
Switzerland to donate medical and office equipment to Family Group Practitioners in Issyk-Kul province
Family Group Practitioners (FGPs) of Ton, Tyup and Jeti-Oguz districts of the Issyk-Kul province will receive medical and office equipment on behalf of the Government of Switzerland on July 14, 2016 in Karakol.

Central Asian and Afghan Researchers Complete Applied Research Training through Innovative Fellowship Programme
Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, 30 June 2016 – The University of Central Asia’s Mountain Societies Research Institute (UCA MSRI) convened the final Central Asia and Afghanistan Research Fellowship (CAARF) workshop for ten Central Asian and Afghan scholars to document their diverse research into policy recommendations.
Project to Protect Women and Girls Against Violance to be Launched in Osh
Osh – The project will enhance the role and responsibility of local governments and law enforcement agencies on preventing domestic violence and protecting women and girls from violence. DIA public foundation will share project details at a press conference on June 28, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the “AKIpress-Osh” Information Agency.
The “Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women” project is supported by the Collaborative Governance Program, funded by USAID and DFID.
World Bank Group Helps Improve Kyrgyz Republic’s Financial Infrastructure
