An opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Services Officer - Estates at the British Embassy in Bishkek. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract (36 hours per week).
The employment contract is for a fixed term and shall terminate upon the return to work of the employee being replaced. In view of the start date of 1 March, the anticipated period of absence is expected to be a minimum of four (4) months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of ten (10) months. Notwithstanding the above, the contract shall automatically terminate upon the return of the employee being replaced, irrespective of the actual duration of the absence.
Our new Corporate Services Officer - Estates will join our small, high-performing corporate services team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operational management of the Embassy estate, including the Embassy building, the Ambassador’s residence, health and safety compliance, and transport services. The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, routine maintenance of Embassy properties, and their preparation for staff arrivals and departures. In addition, the job holder will manage estates support staff and coordinate outsourced service providers to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment for all staff.
