Finance Assistant/Cashier

Summary of Position and Key Responsibilities: The Finance Assistant/Cashier will assist the relevant Finance team members in overseeing the related financial operations of the University’s programmes in Naryn.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively maintain the cashbook of the UCA Campus, Naryn;
  • Undertake a cash-count and balance the cashbook on daily basis;
  • Ensure effective processing of all bank and cash payments while ensuring the adherence to the financial policies and procedures and in accordance with the UCA authority matrix;
  • Prepare bank payment orders and cheques in accordance with the approvals and coordinate the signing of the payment orders/cheques with the authorized bank signatories;
  • Keep a systematic track of all payments and transactions in SAP(financial system) including income recognition, advance reports closing, expenses tracking etc; Assist with preparation of bank balance status on a monthly basis in a pre-defined format;
  • Assist in compilation of UCA Campus reports on periodic basis including canteen reports, stock control, receivable and payables etc;
  • Assist other team members of the UCA Naryn Finance as per need;
  • Coordinate with the Campus team for the relevant functions;
  • Any other relevant responsibilities and tasks assigned by Supervisor. 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferably a bachelor degree or any diploma in the field of Finance and Accounting from a reputed organization;
  • At least 1 years of professional working experience in a similar position or in an international working environment;
  • Fair command on written and spoken English and Russian;
  • Good command on computer (MS Office);
  • Good Interpersonal communication skills.
