Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic – The Coordination Board of Public Councils of State Bodies (CB - PCs SBs) opens its office on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. The official opening ceremony will start at 16:00 at the address: 96 B Kievskaya Street, 7th floor, office 716/3.
Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov signed an order to allocate the office to the Coordination Board of Public Councils in September 2017 with a view towards sustainable development of the institution of Public Councils as an important dialogue platform between the government and civil society. The office is opened for coordination activities of public councils of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic. The office is equipped with the support of the USAID Collaborative Governance Program.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Esengul uulu Chingiz, Head of the Public Relations and Mass Media Department in the Government Office, Garry Ledbetter, Chief of Party of the USAID Collaborative Governance Program, and members of the Commission for Selection of members of Public Councils and other participants.
The Coordination Board of Public Councils of State Bodies is a representative body of PCs of SBs in their relations with ministries, state committees, administrative bodies, international organizations, and it is also a body for coordinating joint events and activities of PCs of SBs.
